About Us

Jewish Family Services of the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County is a private nonprofit social services agency serving the greater Ann Arbor community for over ten years. Established by the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County to assist the growing number of refugee families in Ann Arbor from the former Soviet Republics, JFS has since grown into an organization providing programs and services ranging from Eldercare to immigrant resettlement and career services. Our mission is to address the human services concerns affecting both individuals and families in Ann Arbor in a manner sensitive to Jewish culture, values and ideas while functioning as an equal opportunity service provider for all members of the community.
