Kol Yisrael Areivim Zeh Lazeh

All Jews are responsible, one for the other

The Torah teaches us that a needy person is the responsibility of the community. The people who come to JFS come to us, not by choice, but rather because they have no choice. Out of desperation, people turn to us when they cannot put breakfast on the table for their children, when they cannot afford desperately needed healthcare or when a family member is in need of regular care. JFS is about helping people to meet the major challenges in their lives as well as the simple things that so many of us take for granted, but that some cannot afford. It is crucial for this community that at such a time of desperation and need, JFS has the resources to help rather than turn people away.

Each year, a substantial portion of our funding comes from donors like yourself. Many of those helped by Jewish Family Service-the children, the families, the older adults- would not have access to our programs if not for donors like you.

We welcome your donation and will gladly apply your contribution to a program that is particularly meaningful to you. We will also send a tribute acknowledgment if you care to honor or memorialize someone special.

At Jewish Family Service, your contribution makes a difference . . .

What does your money support?

Every dollar you give to Jewish Family Services goes directly to support one of the crucial programs on which this community depends. When deciding what your contribution will be JFS this year, the question to ask is not "How much should I give?" but rather, "What program or activity will I choose to fund this year?" Will you choose to fund:
