The WISE Center at the J is a welcoming congregate meal program that brings older adults together for nutritious meals, meaningful activities, and social connection. Hosted at the Jewish Community Center of Ann Arbor, the program provides a warm and engaging environment where participants can enjoy healthy food while building friendships and reducing social isolation.
Research shows that staying socially connected is essential to healthy aging. Through shared meals, educational opportunities, recreational activities, and community engagement, the WISE Center at the J helps older adults maintain their independence, well-being, and quality of life. |
