Greater Toledo Newcomer Center Offering critical resettlement support and ongoing social services to promote meaningful inclusion of newly arrived refugees and immigrants in the greater Toledo area.

Citizenship ClassesOffering free citizenship classes in preparation to pass the naturalization interview and test, plus other help with application services, naturalization eligibility screenings, preparing and filing a medical waiver, and more.

Youth ProgramsWorking with refugee youth and other eligible populations on integrating into life in their new community. Services include mentoring, tutoring, youth groups, counseling and more to aid with social adjustment.

ESL ClassesThe ESL program at JFS is more than a language training curriculum. It is also designed to provide students with social, cultural and practical skills.

JFS Made is a collection of brands and creations by JFS clients for their community. JFS Made supports refugee entrepreneurs and other small business owners by connecting them with market opportunities to sell their products at local community events, Farmer’s Markets, the JFS Made website, and inside the JFS Made store (located at 2245 S. State Street, Ann Arbor). |
